Travis Russo is running for Randolph Town Council.

Travis has served as a law enforcement officer since 2002 and currently leads the Detective Bureau, bringing more than two decades of experience in public safety, leadership, and community service. Throughout his career, he has worked in a wide range of assignments, developing strong problem solving skills and a deep understanding of accountability, communication, and teamwork.

In addition to his law enforcement career, Travis owned and operated his own business from 2008 to 2020. As a small business owner, he gained firsthand experience with budgeting, financial responsibility, and the real world challenges of running an organization. That experience continues to shape his practical, common sense approach to decision making and responsible planning.

Travis moved to Randolph in 2015 with his wife, whom he has been married to since 2010. Together, they are raising their two sons in the township, where the boys attend Randolph schools and participate in local sports programs. Deeply invested in the community, Travis has served on the Randolph Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee since 2016 and has actively coached youth sports in town since 2017.

Through his work with Parks and Recreation and as a coach, Travis has built strong relationships with families across Randolph and has seen firsthand the importance of maintaining safe neighborhoods, strong community programs, and thoughtful planning for the future.

A lifelong New Jersey resident, Travis is committed to preserving Randolph’s character, supporting public safety, encouraging responsible development, and protecting the quality of life that makes the township a great place to live, work, and raise a family. He is proud to be running for Randolph Township Council and looks forward to continuing to serve the community he calls home.
